Caffetteria La Stampa Prima Pagina

Turin
Caffè Costadoro
Standing alone, attached to the offices of well known national newspaper La Stampa, the café Prima Pagina is where the office crowd comes in to meet and have a coffee. The people here are clearly regulars, grabbing a coffee to or from their desks upstairs.

When La Stampa moved offices in 2012 to this new building in Via Lugaro, they’ve trusted the design of their café to Costadoro, a respected Turin coffee roaster with the necessary know how, who had a café concept that they were happy to share.

The space is bright white and clean. It is spacious but likely to get busy during the day when the office workers need somewhere to escape too. A large kitchen in the background suggests that you can get a freshly prepared lunch here too.

This is an out of the way location if you are not making a specific journey, but if you are around, well worth the journey for a great coffee. Although in the La Stampa office building, the café Prima Pagina is open to the general public who can enjoy the quality of a bar guaranteed by a “2 coffee beans” rating out of 3 by Gambero Rosso d’Italia.
